Morrilton Elementary School was awarded a Fishing in The Natural State Grant through Arch Ford Service Cooperative Summer Professional Development in partnership with Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. This program strives to instill a culture of conservation and stewardship in our school age population. The goal of this award-winning education program is to get kids hooked on fishing. It offers basic angling skills, information and much more. MES Principal, Anna Henderson accepted the award from the Natural State Program which includes a start-up kit worth $1,500.

Devil Dog Stadium gates will be locked when the wet-bulb temperatures reaches 92 degrees. These are extreme temperatures and the Astro-Turf and Track temperatures get so hot that it may cause injury.
When the wet-bulb temperature falls below 92 degrees, the gates will be unlocked.
