Hey MES Families! 💚 Just a quick reminder as we kick off another great year: ✅ Morning Drop-Off begins at 7:15 AM ✅ Afternoon Pick-Up starts at 3:25 PM 🛑 Please follow the traffic flow: • Enter the car line from N. Chestnut St. (behind the playground). • No entry from Harding Street. • No left turns into or out of the car line (we’re keeping things moving & safe!). 🚫 Bus lane is off-limits — even for the early birds or speed racers. 🚌 💡 Pro Tip: The first few days may feel a little bumpy as everyone gets back in the groove. What does this mean for families?

✅ All enrolled students in PreK–12 will receive a healthy breakfast and lunch every school day at no cost, regardless of household income.
✅ No forms or applications are required—your child is automatically eligible.
✅ It’s one more way we are working to reduce barriers, support families, and ensure every scholar is ready to learn.

This is about more than meals—it’s about equity, access, and taking care of our learning community. When students are well-fed, they are better prepared to focus, grow, and thrive.

BELL TO BELL, NO CELL LAW Parents/Guardians and Students, We want you to be informed and prepared. Starting the 2025-2026 school year, the Arkansas Bell to Bell, No Cell Law (Act 122 of 2025) will be in effect in all public schools, including the South Conway County School District. This new law prohibits students from using personal electronic devices during the school day, from the first bell to the last, to ensure a productive, respectful, and safe learning environment throughout the district. Personal electronic devices are as follows, but are not limited to: Cellular phones Paging device/beeper Wireless earbuds Mobile phones that offer advanced computing and internet accessibility Digital media player Portable game console Tablet, notebook, or laptop computer Digital video or audio recorder Smartwatch Any device that can connect and transmit data through Bluetooth technology For more information, please refer to the 2025-2026 Parent-Student Handbook.
